Small Groups

Small groups, for the purpose of disciple-development, are forming on a regular basis. These discipleship groups are for the purpose of helping members grow in their commitment to Christ and their willingness to help grow the body of Christ by making disciples who make other disciples. Participating in discipleship groups is completely voluntary, but once involved, members are encouraged to maintain a high level of commitment to the disciple-making process through their group.

​Tuesday Discipleship Group: This group of adults meets every Tuesday 6:00-7:15 pm in the Joy classroom to study and discuss the Bible and how to apply it to our daily lives. Soul Fuel Small Group: Soul Fuel meets on Tuesday afternoons at 1:30. Leaders rotate among Linda Bailey, Janelle Clinkenbeard, Carole Graff, and any other willing members. Contact Linda at (513) 368-4084 to sign up or for more information. ​

Wednesday Night Women’s Discipleship Group: This is a women’s discipleship group focused on growing together in our faith in Jesus. We would love for you to be a part of it. We will meet in the Joy classroom on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. Contact Teresa Moreland at teresamoreland@gmail.com if interested in joining.

Choir: Chancel Choir meets in the Sanctuary on Wednesdays at 7:00. If you enjoy singing and would like to be a part of this ministry please join us! If you have questions please contact Doug, 859-230-3521 or dcolyerg@gmail.com.

Thursday Morning Small Group: Join our community of women and men who prefer a daytime Bible study and fellowship. We base our time around studies of the Bible with great conversation, sharing and time for prayer. If you’re looking for friends who become your Asbury family, come at 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. each Thursday in the Chapel. We meet all through the year and would love to welcome you! Men’s Study Group: Meets Saturdays from 8:00 – 9:30 am at the church. Study topics vary and may include Scripture, Christian books, catechisms, and other Bible-based Christian themes. Group leaders alternate. Member participation during group discussions is encouraged. There is also time for the men to socialize and share their lives from the past week, as well as their concerns and prayers. New members will be welcomed.
